Happy Birthday Leah!

Leah turned two on September 18th. Cannon had our camera on his trip to Canada so I didn't get any pictures. She got some dress up outfits and just loves to pretend she's a princess. She also got an awesome coat and some boots. It was fun to celebrate with her even though I don't think she really got it until after the first present was opened. Oh the innocence!
Leah is such a fun girl. She loves to get her hair done and look "peetty". I love it now, too, because people will talk to her and she will talk back, tell them her name something VERY important, and her age. "I'm two" she says. She's still a bit confusing on the kids' name but she has "Emma" down pat. Emma is a neighbor friend. She can also sing. Oh does she sing! Especially in church, it's so hilarious and of course, being a singer I encourage every song! Recently my Dad and Mom gave us their piano to "store." Leah will sit on the bench and play and sing her own songs. She also likes to jump into conversations and talk like everyone is talking to her, it's so funny.
Recently I had a horrible dream that my "peety" princess wandered off and I couldn't find her and I just couldn't believe that I only got to know her for 2 years. When I woke up I was so just so overwhelmed and I had been crying. I am so grateful that I get to have more days and years with Leah, at least we sure hope that's the case!

what a sweet post, I felt your love for your adorable baby. She's still a baby, even though she is singing and carrying on conversations. Happy Birth Month Leah !
