Our first night in San Francisco we took the kids to the famous Pier 39 to look at the Sea Lions, forced them to try Clam Chowder and went swimming in the hotel pool. We had a great location for our hotel, right on Fisherman's Wharf only a few blocks from where Jed would be swimming to shore from Alacatraz. The next morning we explored the Aquatic Park and it's dock, went sniffing around Giradelli Square and ate chocolate at 10 am. The weather was perfect and very warm. We didn't have to wear our jackets at all until Sunday!

How did your husband do? It looks like you had a lot of fun and did some fun things. We need a vacation!
