Cannon started work on his Eagle Scout Project earlier this summer by collecting used eye glassses to donate to an organization going to South America to give eye exams. Today we went and picked up the final donations and he probably has collected 500 pairs of glasses. Once he and Jed can get them cleaned and checked for prescription they will be donated. Hopefully Jed and Cannon can go with a group to South America next Spring/Summer to give eye exams and help distribute the glasses but we are still working on that part!

That is totally awesome Cannon! I am so proud of you!!! Jay hasn't even come up with a project yet but we have great leaders here and finally might have a project in mind:/ Way to go and I do hope you can go to Africa...oh and can you sneak me in your suitcase? hee hee
