Thursday morning we hiked that very steep trail up to the caves. I have very vivid memories of doing this very out of shape with Aunt Jane and the Ripas with Stacy. It was very hot, we ran out of water and I had such a hard time. I think Devon was about 18 months and one of the Ripa boys carried him for me. And I still barely made it! Fortunately I am in much better shape and even Leah hiked most of the way and then I even carried her on my shoulders. She got to hear what heaving breathing sounds like for sure!

what a great trip Lisa! I am proud of you and your accomplishments! Fells good to re-do something you couldn't do very well before doesn't it? I mountain biked a pretty hard trail yesterday and found I love mountain biking! yay!
That cave looks amazing! And what fun camping! It's been very rainy here, but the kids are excited for when we get out there to hike and camp (can you tell I've been putting it off?) And that end of year party, WOWZA! You must have been gotten celebrity status with the kids!
