Because we don't do an allowance or pay our kids for good grades, we wanted to show them how much we appreciate their hard work this year at the brand new school. It has been such a wonderful experience to have our kids at the charter school but there has also been some sacrifice on their part and we know they miss their friends here in the neighborhood. So we decided to throw a party. We rented two inflatables, one had a slide with water and the other was a dodgeball one. Jed took the afternoon off so that we could invite a ton of kids, I think it ended up around 30 friends for all three of our kids. It was a fantastic day, the weather was hot and sunny which today is cold and rainy! Everyone had a great time and we so love our neighbors and friends that came and brought treats to share.
