We went to the Visitors' Center on Wednesday. It had turned rainy so we left the beach and drove North. It's a really neat place with lots of tours and IMAX movies. We took the bus out to the launch site where 2 days later a space shuttle was scheduled to launch (we had known but was at 8 pm and decided the crowds would be so much!). It's amazing and I learned that the media has really toned down their coverage of NASA and unfortunately a lot of good things are happening and yet our society doesn't really know about them. 30 years ago it was alot different and astronaunts were more known. Maybe that will change as Nasa does more "space walks". We got to tour the actual room where on Apollo 13 the movie they show all the staff of NASA working, it's an actual room and people actually do support jobs there. So fun!
