Fog brain

So one of the things that happens to me when I eat normally and aren't strict my diet is that I become ms. foggy brain. I've noticed it a thousand times over the last 3 years. I forget things more easily, I am more lethargic and unmotivated, I lose my reasoning skills and overall just less easy to live with. Sound familiar anyone? I also get really annoyed at lunchtime when there's nothing easy to eat and my biggest downfall is a simple peanut butter and jam sandwich, not something cool like chicken alfredo or a cheese burger, just your basic lunch material. Anyway, yesterday was a sandwich day and now I'm paying for it. I just don't get how sometimes it's so easy to eat well and other times it totally isn't. Is it hormones? Well it's raining outside and cloudy and I thought maybe if I post today how much of a slug I am I will be more motivated to start moving!

ss there is no point where it becomes easier to eat the way that is right for you. I have struggled for years with this, my diet isn't as hard as yours but if I want to drop my extra weight and feel extraordinary then I must limit my calories and watch every little thing that I eat. I find that the weirdest simple things like your PBJ are the ones that I fall off the "wagon, so to speak, for too...you are not alone. The bad weather is key for me. You are awesome and don't beat yourself up too much.

I struggle with this with Jon and Tag... I try so hard to keep corn and soy out of the house, but let it sneak in and then I'm wondering what the heck I was thinking because I know it wasn't worth it. And yes those reactions are far too familiar!!

MILKY THINGS...If only it were a little stomach ache...but it effects about everything for too long to make it even a little bit worth it...now its more things like sugar, chocolate, complex foods, onions, mushrooms...but corn, soy, gluten, etc?...i think i have it easy. --Dad
