Mom and Grandma Todd

Some of you may have heard that Grandma was hospitalized on Monday of this week with pneumonia. She is doing much better and hopefully will get release here in the next few days once she "coughs" up the last of the fluid in her left lung. I had the honor of visiting her briefly yesterday and she was looking good. She seemed to be in spirits because she complained about the food and the service and we were able to talk about other things and she only coughed once in the 20 minutes I was there and it wasn't for very long. I was so happy to see her feeling better and sounding better. I just am not ready for her not to be part of my life. I love her so much! It was a very fun afternoon since I got to pick Mom up from the airport and drive her to Heber. I just loved having the chance to chat and catch up! After stopping by the hospital we drove to Grandpa and invited him to have dinner with us at Arby's (I brought all the kids so they could have a little time with Grandma Jean as well) and they were so happy to be out of the car that when we got to the house, there was a deer in the backyard and they all wanted to try and catch it so they ran around for a bit. Leah was an angel and it was just a perfect day except having to drive home and then seeing Michael Johns voted off of American Idol, so sad! I really thought Carly would've been the one gone. Hopefully he still gets a great recording chance. Go David A!
