In July we drove 8 hours to Independence pass in Colorado where it is so high I got altitude sickness! We camped near Leadville by a beautiful lake Turquoise. The scenery was gorgeous. Jed and Cannon hiked Mt. Elbert, Colorado's highest point while I had the other kids at the first part of the hike as they were coming down so we met about a mile up the trail which was so fun. It was a fun trip!
