Last Friday Jed had CE classes in Midway so we took the kids and spent Thursday night and Friday night at Mom and Dad's. While Jed was in class and Mom was at work, Dad and I took the kids on the train ride through Heber Valley and Provo Canyon. It was so relaxing and peaceful. The kids were awesome and even Leah who normally is everywhere was content to sit on the seat. It was really fun to spend the day with Dad (a 3 hour trip) and we saw the beautiful Deer Creek Reservoir from the West side and lots of wildflowers, some deer and lots of birds. The weather was cool and rainy which was fun because it added to the ambiance. Also Leah finally got comfortable with Grandpa and was so cute to watch her play with him and give him smiles and kisses. My favorite part was when the train robbers hijacked the train and told everyone to put their hands in the air and after awhile Devon says, "Mom, my arms hurt can I put them down now?"
