Sweet weekend!

After a crazy Spring Break week of trips to the museum, Grandma's, a movie, Emily's and Stacy's and a cousin in Salt Lake, I was tired!!! Jed and I decided to stay home this weekend instead of spending Easter in Torrey where his parents live. We taped all the NCAA playoff games and watched some in the morning on Friday, then Jed went grocery shopping with me (hasn't done that in a long time), laid in the sunshine in our family room and just had so much fun! Saturday was the best! We did an Easter egg hunt with just our kids, then we had a good old fashioned "tea" party (hot chocolate and mint tea) with the whole family using little Rachel tea set and then we took the kids swimming at the indoor pool. Even Leah got to test the waters. By the time we got home we watched more basketball and laid around some more. We all filled out the brackets for the tournament to show who we wanted to win and even Rachel got involved in crossing off who lost after a game. Of course if you know me, this is my favorite time of year for college basketball. I love going back and forth between games and cheering for some teams. My pick this year to win it all is University of North Carolina. Go Tarheels. I really like Memphis and Davidson (yes a school in North Carolina!). Of course that's because BYU lost in the first round to Texas A&M. Next weekend is the "Sweet 16" and then the Final Four usually play on Conference Weekend with the Championship the following Monday. We just don't get a lot of time with Jed since he works 6 days a week so it was just awesome that we had 3 days straight!

Way to take some time for yourselves! It seems like there is no time for just being at home anymore. Too bad we can't just be home all the time!
